Job Overview
We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team of HVAC installers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of heating and air conditioning systems in customer homes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and other products according to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide project leadership to less experienced HVAC installers to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
• Work independently to install HVAC equipment in customers' homes with minimal supervision.
• Accurately complete all paperwork on time.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, interacting with homeowners during installations and ensuring they understand how to utilize their newly installed systems.
• Promote additional services, such as indoor air quality products like filters, humidifiers, and surge protectors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation in the field.
• Proficiency in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems.
• Demonstrated ability to build and transition ductwork, install indoor/outdoor units, braze, and solder.
• Able to lead and coach apprentices on projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions.
• Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings.
• EPA 2 Certification is required; Universal certification is preferred, and Nate certification is a bonus.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are mandatory.
Physical Demands:
• The primary duties involve working in various environments, including customer homes, outdoors, and field settings with uneven terrain.
• Regularly requires using hands to handle or feel objects, reaching with hands and arms.
• Occasionally involves ascending/descending ladders and balancing.
• Working in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods.
• Standing for up to 8 hours per day and walking up to 8 hours daily on uneven terrain.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• May work in closed or cramped spaces occasionally.
