The Area Mech HVAC Refrigeration Kitchen Tech will solve, perform maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work including air cooled and water cooled chillers. The role requires the ability to repair or replace valves, bearings, belts and sheave replacement, blower and shaft replacement, insulation and damper repairs, motor repair or replacement, pump rebuilding and maintenance of boilers and air compressors.
This field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

Job Description:
The Area Mech HVAC Refrigeration Kitchen Tech must be able to troubleshoot, perform maintenance and operational procedures in all aspects of the plumbing trade, including plumbing, HVAC, commercial kitchen repair, boilers, air compressors and water cooled chillers.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems, repairing and replacing valves, bearings, belts and sheave, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting and replacing filters, cleaning drain lines, and checking for leaks.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in refrigeration
• Universal EPA Certification (Type I, II, and III)
• Ability to pass the Area Mech HVAC Refrigeration Kitchen Tech assessment
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
