We are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team at BME Services LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing building automation projects for our customers. You will work closely with our facility team, architects, and engineers to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC controls and equipment, as well as experience with building automation systems. You will be responsible for developing BAS architectures, designing and proposing controls hardware, and creating systems using project hardware and computers.
BAS DESIGN AND CONFIGURATION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop BAS architectures per client's RFQs, project drawings, and documentation
• Design and propose controls hardware appropriate for a project based on the above
• Research and select a specific control system beneficial for the type of project
ONSITE BAS STARTUP RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work in a supervisor role or with a team at a customer site
• Install project software and configuration onto site systems
• Provide modifications/additions to site graphics as required
Requirements:
• 3+ years of Building Automation (BAS) programming experience
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls/equipment
• Ability to read construction blueprints/documents
