Commercial HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
• Install/repair/replace various systems: hydraulic, steam, radiant, and high efficiency heating
• Install and troubleshoot low voltage wiring for heat & hot water systems
• Check layout of existing heat devices and air conditioning units to plan work procedures.
• Getting dispatched from home in a company truck to Commercial buildings mainly fast food restaurants and repairing currently existing units.
• Obtain materials and supplies according to establish policies and procedures.
• Service machinery by cleaning, lubricating or replacing shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys and other parts.
• Complete diagnostic troubleshooting the HVAC System from wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Lead and supervise the installation of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings
Commercial HVAC Technician Qualifications:
• High School diploma/GED
• 4-5+ years of commercial HVAC Service & repair experience required
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• EPA Universal required
• KY Journeyman's license highly preferred
• Commercial HVAC and refrigeration service experience required
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
