Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician II to join our team at {company}. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of gas engine compressors and related equipment at customer sites.
About the Role:
• Technical Maintenance:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on gas engine compressors and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct major overhauls and repairs, including installation and removal of equipment.
• Utilize OEM software to interpret performance data and optimize equipment operation.
• Field Support:
• Provide on-site technical assistance to customers.
• Identify and address equipment inefficiencies and potential problems.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
• Training & Leadership:
• Train and mentor new field technicians.
• Assist in equipment start-up and commissioning.
• Fulfill supervisory responsibilities as needed.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to all company and client safety protocols.
• Participate in safety training programs and job safety analyses.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
• Education:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational school or an associate's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
• At least 1-3 years of experience in field service with gas engine compressors or similar equipment is necessary.
• Certifications:
• A valid driver's license is required.
• The successful completion of an OSHA-required respiratory questionnaire is also required.
Compensation:
A competitive salary of approximately $$120,000 - $150,000 per year is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and hybrid work arrangements. The estimated salary range is based on national averages for similar positions and may vary depending on location and individual qualifications.
