Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician II to join our team at {company}. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of gas engine compressors and related equipment at customer sites.
About the Role:
• Technical Maintenance:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on gas engine compressors and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct major overhauls and repairs, including installation and removal of equipment.
• Utilize OEM software to interpret performance data and optimize equipment operation.
• Field Support:
• Provide on-site technical assistance to customers.
• Identify and address equipment inefficiencies and potential problems.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
• Training & Leadership:
• Train and mentor new field technicians.
• Assist in equipment start-up and commissioning.
• Fulfill supervisory responsibilities as needed.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Adhere to all company and client safety protocols.
• Participate in safety training programs and job safety analyses.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
• Education:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational school or an associate's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
• At least 1-3 years of experience in field service with gas engine compressors or similar equipment is necessary.
• Certifications:
• A valid driver's license is required.
• The successful completion of an OSHA-required respiratory questionnaire is also required.
Compensation:
A competitive salary of approximately $$120,000 - $150,000 per year is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid time off, and hybrid work arrangements.
