About the Role
Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. is seeking a Senior Marketing Strategist to lead our regional marketing efforts in Houston, TX.
As a key member of our marketing team, you will develop and execute business unit marketing programs that drive company sales performance and generate leads in sufficient volume to meet sales and EBITDA goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement integrated co-op marketing plans aligned with business unit and national strategies:
• In collaboration with sales teams and local distributors, participate in co-op planning processes to develop, recommend, and implement distributor co-op plans.
• Participate in annual DAPP marketing meetings and assist distributors in creating annual co-op utilization plans.
• Regularly review co-op utilization with each BU distributor and communicate local value-added market-specific opportunities.
• Drive usage of recommended creative for business unit and co-op promotions.
• Develop and implement local marketing programs to drive top-line business unit sales performance:
• Assess business unit and/or local customer needs to customize messaging and adoption of national marketing programs.
• Responsible for developing tactics for business unit regional marketing programs based on national marketing programs, including campaign scope, content development, execution, and measurement.
• Work closely with individual sales team members and the entire sales team to drive campaigns resulting in strong lead opportunities for BU distributors and contractors.
• Manage project timelines for business unit marketing projects, ensuring all activities occur as planned and campaigns are executed.
• Provide input for future national programs based on market research, business unit needs, and customer insights.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred.
• MBA with a focus on Marketing and Advertising is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant business experience with an emphasis on field marketing, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated experience in driving strategies and plans, measuring, and reporting success.
• Strong presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $143,000 per year, depending on individual qualifications and experience. The total compensation package may include target bonus plans, discretionary awards, and participation in a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans. Eligible employees also receive 80 hours of vacation time, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
