Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 3 years in a foreman or lead role on commercial projects. They will oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems on commercial projects, including K-12 schools, universities, healthcare facilities, and other institutional environments.
This individual will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring quality and efficiency of installations, and working closely with project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the installation of ductwork, HVAC equipment, and related components according to project plans and specifications.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor HVAC installers and technicians on-site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments to HVAC systems and controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Document progress, report issues, and maintain daily logs of site activities and equipment installations.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork installation, and equipment operation.
• Experience with HVAC controls, testing, troubleshooting, and system adjustments.
