Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely restoration of vacant apartments to "market ready" status. This includes performing routine repairs and replacements of various apartment components, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to safety procedures.
Responsibilities
• Restore vacant apartments to "market ready" status in a timely manner
• Routinely replace and repair light fixtures, ceiling fans, window screens, and other apartment components
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance, service requests, and expenditures
• Assist with various maintenance requests and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of property maintenance experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
Working Environment
This role requires frequent work indoors (66% to 100% of the time) and occasionally outdoors in all conditions (33% to 66% of the time). You will also have occasional exposure to caustics, solvents, oils, fumes, flammables, pesticides, etc.
Physical Requirements
You will have a constant need to be on your feet, perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing stairs, pushing or pulling, reaching above shoulders, and grasping/grip/turning. Lifting and carrying weights exceeding 50 pounds is often accomplished with assistance from one or more persons.
Salary
$45,000 - $60,000 per year
