Job Title: HVAC Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will lead installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair operations.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, ventilation systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
• Inspect and diagnose issues in systems and components to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to install systems per manufacturer's specifications and local building codes.
• Perform advanced electrical work, including wiring and troubleshooting HVAC-related controls and systems.
• Manage a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental protocols, including EPA regulations for refrigerant handling.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimum performance.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Order necessary parts and equipment for installation and repairs.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including split systems, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, heat pumps, and ductwork.
• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (preferred).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong experience with troubleshooting electrical components, including control panels, motors, and thermostats.
• Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems (preferred).
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
• Ability to use HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, and other testing equipment.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team coordination.
