Job Overview
ASAP Personnel Services - Texas is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our commercial HVAC maintenance crew, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems, delivering exceptional service, and leading projects with professionalism and expertise.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including package units, water-source heat pumps, VAV and fan-powered boxes, VRF systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, and more.
• Deliver high-quality craftsmanship and maintain a safe work environment by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and keeping the company vehicle fully stocked and organized.
• Lead assigned projects, coordinating with account managers and service coordinators for parts, subcontractors, and labor, while effectively communicating your daily schedule.
• Maintain regular communication with your team, service coordinator, and customers, keeping them informed about arrival times, issues encountered, and proposed solutions.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC
• An associate's degree or equivalent training
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities
• Tech registration with TDLR and EPA Universal Certification
• Your own basic hand tools (gauges, meters, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
• A self-sufficient team player, driven to learn and grow in the industry, with a passion for serving customers
