Job Description
We are seeking a qualified HVAC Instructor to join our faculty team at Collin College. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned courses in the HVAC program, which includes preparing and delivering coursework, assessing student learning, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Teach courses in the HVAC program, including theoretical and practical aspects of HVAC systems
• Prepare and deliver engaging coursework, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies
• Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and student evaluations
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
• Associate degree in HVAC or a related field
• Minimum of three years of nonteaching work-related experience in heating, air conditioning, ventilation, or refrigeration
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Universal)
