HVAC Technician Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at Mary F Canty.
As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings throughout NYC.
This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues with HVAC systems, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide range of HVAC equipment, including cooling towers, pumps, RTUs, and split systems.
Responsibilities
• Repair and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems
• Installation of new HVAC equipment
• Diagnostic services to identify issues with HVAC systems
• Routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
Qualifications
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Prioritize safety procedures and adhere to company policies
• Ability to lead
• Preventive maintenance proficiency
• NYC FDNY Torch/Fire Watch certificates
• EPA Universal Certification
• Clean driving record
