Job Description:
As a member of our skilled maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of hospital facilities by installing, maintaining, upgrading, and repairing HVAC equipment and systems.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of HVAC experience in a large facility, with preference given to those with experience in healthcare environments
Required Certifications/Licenses:
• Valid Driver's License
• EPA Refrigerant Certification (or ability to attain within 6 months)
Key Skills and Qualities:
• Strong mechanical ability
• Detailed knowledge of HVAC and mechanical safety
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency in drawing electrical schematics
• Mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, electrical controls, and air compressors
• Effective communication skills for working with contractors, suppliers, and staff
Compensation:
$22.39 - $33.09 per hour
