HVAC, HVAC/R Control Systems Technician
• Prior HVAC or HVAC/R with COMMERCIAL HVAC UNITS experience is necessary.
• You will be provided on-the-job training with "Control Systems". (Prior Control Systems experience is a plus).

Bonus:
Prior experience working for or with Johnson Controls, Siemens Controls/HVAC or Trane HVAC Units, or similar Controls on a commercial level is a big plus, not required.
Summary:
Imagine yourself as the lead troubleshooter and will maintain direct digital control systems in high-end customer for HVAC, electrical and mechanical infrastructures, program direct digital control systems, provide basic mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting, install / replace system components as necessary and provide installation (termination and commissioning) services of newly installed systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provides installation, startup, and commissioning services for new and retrofit HVAC projects.
• Provides troubleshooting services for existing commercial HVAC/R customer control, mechanical and electrical components.
• Programs and commissions programmable logic controllers as required per project scope (training provided).
• Completes assigned projects on time, within budget, and per contractual requirements.
• Interfaces with customer contacts on issues, strategies, and support.

Requirements:
• Trade certification in the HVAC and/or Electrical Service field and/or equivalent job experience in the controls and automation industry.
• Note: Training provided for experienced Commercial HVAC or HVAC/R
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and programming HVAC/R commercial units.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Autocad, and Visio.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with Computer Networks and advanced knowledge and practical experience of Automation and Control Networks a plus.
• Strong understanding of commercial building Mechanical & Electrical operations.
• Knowledge of the controls concepts and strategies for commercial infrastructure, building HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
A Plus, Not Required:
• Understanding and practical experience with the Electrical and Electronics concepts associated with Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC).
• Experience programming any of the following product lines is preferred not required: Tridium Niagara (Ax, and N4), Reliable Controls BACnet, Trane Summit/Tracer, Siemens, Automated Logic, Johnson Controls FX.
