We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operator with expertise in troubleshooting HVAC systems and control systems for building infrastructure and equipment. The role involves providing primary support for emergency calls, ensuring swift and effective responses to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will be capable of identifying necessary components and coordinating with vendors to facilitate both emergency repairs and regular maintenance activities. This position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively to maintain optimal facility performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure efficient climate control and facility performance.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC components, including chillers, air handling units, and ventilation systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on process equipment such as bioreactors, fermenters, and associated support systems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system logs, and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with facilities and engineering teams to implement upgrades and improvements to HVAC, BMS, and other process equipment.
• Support the validation and qualification of new and existing equipment in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms and emergencies, ensuring continuous operational performance.
• Uphold safety protocols and participate in safety training and initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced technicians and operators.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC, mechanical systems, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of [3-5] years of experience working with HVAC, BMS, and process equipment in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting BMS systems (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls).

• Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements relevant to biotech facilities.
