Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed HVAC mechanic to join our team. This position is onsite at a private university and involves working closely with the Director of Facilities and the VP of the University.
Responsibilities
• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to all HVAC systems on campus
• Oversee the main plant on campus, academic buildings' systems, and individual dorm rooms
Essential Skills
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance/repair experience
• Valid HVAC license
• Experience with preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handlers
• Troubleshooting and identifying issues for reporting
• Handling work orders and basic computer skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Lab experience (4-5 labs on site)
• Boiler experience
• Management experience
• Experience in other trades (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.)

Work Environment
The work environment is a beautiful campus located within the Babson University athletic complex. The college hosts around 400 students during the academic year and a large group of summer camps in the off months, with about 1000 campers daily. The campus is small, walkable in 5 minutes, quiet, and easily accessible from the highway.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Needham, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
