The Role of Service Estimator:
We are seeking a highly motivated HVAC Estimator to join the Sales and Service Department. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for assessing, analyzing, and estimating service repairs and maintenance contracts. Your keen attention to detail, analytical skills, and collaborative nature will be critical in creating accurate bids and ensuring the success of the company's projects.
Responsibilities of HVAC Estimator:
• Work closely with sales teams, service technicians, and management to understand project specifications and customer requirements.
• Develop detailed bid sheets, providing a thorough breakdown of labor, materials, and time for each project.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing inquiries and following up on estimates to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage service projects from estimate generation to completion, including coordinating material orders and deliveries.
• Accurately calculate costs for labor, materials, and time to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Identify and resolve project discrepancies by liaising with internal teams and customers.
• Ensure all estimates adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in weekly meetings, providing input on project statuses and actively contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Requirements of HVAC Estimator:
• 5+ years of experience in estimating, preferably within the HVAC industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Teams, and other data entry systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, balancing multiple tasks efficiently.
