Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of Mechanical (HVAC) engineering experience;
Plumbing and Fire Protection expertise a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• P.E. license preferred; LEED Certification is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Recent experience handling technically complex projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of meeting project schedules and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of A/E disciplines and project coordination.
• Field experience with construction principles and best practices.
• Proficient in AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, Revit MEP, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, and Prolog.Responsibilities:
• Collaborating on project design from concept to construction completion.
• Active participation in design and construction meetings.
• Preparing construction documents, responding to communications, and addressing RFIs and submittals.
• Conducting site visits for data collection, field surveys, and observations.
• Performing engineering calculations and equipment sizing.
• Ensuring compliance with NYC Mechanical, Building, and other relevant codes.
