HVAC Service Technician and Building Maintenance Position
Trevor Day School is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician and Building Maintenance Specialist to join its facilities team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in HVAC systems, building maintenance, and troubleshooting.
About the Job:
This role involves maintaining the school's HVAC systems, including package units, cooling towers, VFD-controlled units, and other equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in on-the-job troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as knowledge of proper HVAC techniques and methods.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters and checking system performance
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components
• Work independently and collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve issues and report progress
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
• EPA 608 Universal Certification
• Clean Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Estimated Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per year
