Responsibilities of HVAC Manager:
As a knowledgeable professional in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building mechanics, you are capable of resolving any maintenance concerns within our building effectively. Your dedication to excellence guarantees that Verizon's building systems remain at peak performance.
• Working with different heating and air conditioning systems and their components, including air handling units and refrigeration systems.
• The upkeep and fixing of motor controllers along with associated electrical apparatus and controlling circuits.
• The task involves setting up, fixing, and fine-tuning different brands of pneumatic and/or electric controls essential for the functionality of temperature and humidity regulation systems.
• Conducting inspections and executing necessary repairs on equipment or systems based on company standards and applicable laws.
• Analyzing and making sense of the structure of sentences, directions for operation, illustrations, architectural designs, and schematics of mechanical equipment.
• Scaling heights using ladders, working above ground, and moving loads that do not exceed 100 pounds.
• Meeting work obligations during evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts in accordance with business needs.
• The required work hours span from 7am to 4pm on weekdays, but adjustments may be made to accommodate business needs.
Qualification of HVAC Manager:
You know HVAC and other building systems like the back of your hand, and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work for the V Team. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You take pride in a job well done because you know better matters
• Valid refrigeration license and ability to pass, obtain and maintain a current certificate of fitness for one or all of the following: fire standpipe, sprinkler, welding, oil burner and air compressor operation.
• Universal Technician Certification as designated by EPA regulations-40 CFR Part 82 Subpart H.
• Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Relevant vocational or technical training or 3 or more years of relevant work experience
