Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including refrigeration and air conditioning units
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings to complete installations and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about HVAC systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various types of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of HVAC/R codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Experience in property maintenance or field service is a plus
