What Youll Do:
• Analyze performance, identify areas of risk and opportunity, and make recommendations to operations leadership for improvements.
• Assist in timely preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, as well as ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects.
• Understand business, end-markets, competitive environment, industry peer group, and general economic conditions that impact the company.
• Develop key business drivers, track KPIs, and prepare financial reports.
• Understand and analyze business units monthly/quarterly financial results (versus forecast, prior year, budget) and clearly articulate themes and performance drivers; this includes driving efforts to understand root causes of variances and making recommendations to enhance business performance.
• Identify and evaluate strategies to monitor and optimize cash flow.
• Work with various software systems to build reporting for operators and extract data.
What Youll Bring:
• Bachelors degree in Finance or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a finance role is required.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial systems and software programs.
• Exceptional Excel experience and knowledge is necessary.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• A tenacity for continuous improvement is required.
