Commercial/Industrial HVAC Journeyman Installer
As a Journeyman HVAC Installer in the commercial/industrial construction group you will be participate in all aspects of the installation process.
J ob functions and duties (other duties may be assigned)
General areas of performance:
• Follow blueprints or engineering specifications to mount and assemble units.
• Install and direct installation of ductwork and HVAC equipment
• Directing/managing Laborers and Apprentices
• Order Materials
• Job Coordination Meetings
• Train and mentor Apprentices
Must show competency in:
• Vendor relations
• Managing a purchase order log
• Understanding of Foreman duties as it pertains the labor and cost management of a job
Qualifications

Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 4+ years HVAC install experience (industrial/commercial preferred)
Language Skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
• Valid driver's license

Work Availability and Requirements
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel.
