Job Title: Director of Service
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Leadership and Management: Oversee and manage the HVAC service team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and productivity.
• Customer Relations: Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure our safety culture is encouraged and enforced to maintain our goal of Zero Accidents.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ensure necessary parts and equipment are available.
• Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Budget and manage labor & indirect cost. Responsible for signing off on bid temps and proposals.
• Service Strategies: Develop and implement service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Union Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with union representatives.
• Mentorship: Manage and mentor the service manager and operations manager, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor service performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve service efficiency and quality.
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
• Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service delivery.
• Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve service offerings continually.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC commercial service management.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
