Job Duties & Responsibilities:
DUTIES:
Service Specialist (Journeyman-HVAC), 9401J must be able to perform all duties of the Service Specialist classification and in addition:
• Adjusting, service or repair of equipment consuming 1,000,000 BTU’s or less for residential and commercial buildings;
• Adjusting, service or repair of Electric Air Conditioning for equipment sized 5 ton or less in residential and commercial buildings;
• Adjusting, service or repair of residential electric ranges/ovens, water heaters, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines if trained and qualified;
• Installation of HVAC systems.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Must complete a Journeyman Training and Testing Program during first six months of employment.
• Must possess type II or Universal refrigerant certificate.
• Must possess and maintain a U.S. valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
