Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description
The HVAC Technician is responsible for diagnosing, installing, servicing, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. Perform inspections and test systems to ensure they meet plan and specification standards of compliance. Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner. Responsibilities
• Install HVAC systems, including sheet metal and humidification systems.
• Perform load calculations, sizing, and selecting equipment, ductwork, and piping design.
• Conduct field verification of existing systems, available space, and clearances.
• Arrange for in-house quality review to ensure all client needs and requests are accommodated.
• Complete all work and services in a timely manner with high quality.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and inventory.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, managers, and the general public at all times.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Policies, Programs & Procedures Manual.
• Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics policy and procedure.
• Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Document completed work daily.
• Take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Plan and organize work, understanding the importance of task priorities.
• Continue training to maintain knowledge of the latest equipment and technologies.
• Work rotational shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Essential Skills
• Solid knowledge of repair, maintenance, and installation techniques.
• Must have all necessary tools and test equipment.
• Experience in repairing heating/air conditioning systems and related equipment/components.
• Ability to manage large and influential projects across the company.
• Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines, exercise good business judgment, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with peers, coworkers, supervisors, and employees of all levels in a professional and courteous manner.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC controls and humidification systems.
• Experienced in sheet metal and HVAC installation.

Work Environment
This job operates in both indoor and outdoor environments and is exposed to changing conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to high noise levels in the work environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to grease, lubricants, hazardous chemicals, and other contaminants, electric shock, moving parts, and high/precarious places. Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00
