We are currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our team! This role requires wearing many hats, from coordinating schedules to communicating effectively with our technicians and customers. Key Position Responsibilities:
• Maintain the service technicians' daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed.
• Conduct clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead times. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in.
• Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians as well as keep track of where the technicians are throughout the day and make sure they are making it to their dispatches on time and that each one checks out safely at the end of the day.
• Offer maintenance agreements.
• Conduct follow-up "happy calls" with the clients after services are performed. Maintain customer database with current information.
• Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.
Work Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as required
Pay Scale: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience + Benefits

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of dispatching experience in the home improvement industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, etc)
• Ability to multi-task and make difficult decisions on an everchanging dispatch board
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to pass drug and background screens
• Positive attitude & cheerful phone presence
• Intermediate computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with FieldEdge software is preferred
• Experience with XOI Technologies, Profit Rhino, and QuickBooks is a plus
• Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
• Knowledge of the industry is recommended but not required
• Assertiveness is a desired trait, as well as, being able to make difficult decisions under stressful circumstances
• Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
