About Us:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential properties. As a Residential HVAC Technician, you will work directly with homeowners to ensure that their HVAC systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential properties.
• Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Assist with system installations, including wiring, piping, and ensuring all components are in proper working order.
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining services performed and offering maintenance advice to homeowners.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
• Comply with safety regulations and codes while performing work.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices by participating in training programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are well-maintained and in good working order.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in HVAC systems is a plus.
• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and related tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and handle service calls efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• EPA certification or willingness to obtain.
