Overview
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, independent and motivated individual to build and lead a small team of door to door canvassers in the field.
In this role, you will initially be in the field leading the effort to generate leads for residential HVAC (heating and cooling) services and replacements and air quality products.
Our primary focus being to educate homeowners as to the advantages of upgrading from a standard air conditioner and gas furnace to a high-efficiency heat pump with a whole home air purifier.
As a Lead Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in raising brand awareness and supporting our sales team with high quality leads. This position is ideal for those who excel in communication and enjoy working directly with the public.
Responsibilities
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to set appointments for our sales teams.
• Effectively communicate special offers and information to homeowners.
• Collect feedback and insights to inform future strategies.
• Utilize negotiation skills to address concerns and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions.
• Build and supervise a team of 2-3 effective canvassers.
Requirements
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate messages clearly and persuasively.
• Experience in sales, telemarketing, or lead generation is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with door to door solar sales experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and engaging with diverse populations.
• Previous experience in hiring, training and supervising teams is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
