• *Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Expert Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls.
In this role, you will install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm Systems, as well as other related building system products at customer sites.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm systems, including networked systems, and be able to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
• *What You Will Do:**

Perform installation/programming on fire alarm systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.

Supervise and inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer and contract specifications.

Complete necessary certification courses on internal and external products used.

Submit all required task-related documentation in a timely manner.
• *Requirements:**

Five years of documented experience in Fire Alarm Installation.

Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.

Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local codes.
