Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC field trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the relay that information in a diverse training environment.
Duties
• Train proper Installation of HVAC systems.
• Train refrigeration theory, principles, flow as it pertains to HVAC systems.
• Train basic electrical skills. To include reading circuit diagrams, using the many functions of a meter as it pertains to HVAC.
• Train HVAC air flow principles.
• Train proper troubleshoot and diagnoses procedures.
• Train how to perform the proper sequence for routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
• Train proper use tools, supplies and equipment necessary for HVAC work.
• Train the proper installation, maintenance of IAQ products.
• Train soft skills required of HVAC technicians and installers.
• Train Safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Experience
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining HVAC/R systems.
• Familiarity with welding, boiling, refrigerating techniques, and air conditioning systems is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
