About the Role
As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading teams of engineers in the design and development of integrated HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and laboratory facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead teams of engineers in the design and development of HVAC systems including commercial/industrial ventilation systems, control room HVAC, laboratory HVAC, chilled water system design, and heating system design.
• Develop and implement design strategies to ensure high-quality and efficient HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, client personnel, and suppliers to ensure a complete and timely design.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-approved program is required.
• 10 or more years of relevant HVAC system and chilled water system design experience for commercial, laboratories, and industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in TRACE 700 or 3D+ program, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
• Ability to create design flow diagrams and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Prior knowledge of relevant codes and standards applicable to HVAC and ventilation systems.
Compensation and Benefits
• A competitive salary range of $142,000 - $169,000.
