We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our refrigeration systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, electrical refrigeration, and industrial maintenance. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and operate refrigeration equipment, including compressors, evaporators, condensers, piping systems, and insulation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks throughout the facility.
• Repair and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 6 months of continuous work experience in maintenance within the last 12 months.
• Refrigeration or Process Safety Management (PSM) experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with various members of management and vendors.
