Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic Refrigeration Technician with a strong background in HVAC systems and refrigeration work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in the trade and hold Universal EPA Certification (Type I, II, and III). As a Mechanic Refrigeration Technician at Walt Disney World, you will be responsible for solving and performing maintenance and operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration work.

Responsibilities
• Solve and perform maintenance and operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, and refrigeration work
• Repair or replace valves, bearings, belts, and sheave replacement, blower and shaft replacement, insulation and damper repairs, motor repair or replacement, pump rebuilding, and maintenance of boilers and air compressors
• Work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in refrigeration
• Universal EPA Certification (Type I, II, and III)
• Ability to pass the Mechanic Refrigeration Technician assessment
• Experience troubleshooting, performing maintenance and operational procedures in all aspects of the plumbing trade
• Knowledgeable of valve repair, replacement, and adjustment
• Must be familiar with the tools of the trade such as multimeter, manifold gauges, scale, and charging stations
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
