Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at Paradigm Mechanical Corp. in San Diego, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair, as well as excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, wiring, and piping as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Provide detailed service reports to clients.
• Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and energy efficiency improvements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company and OSHA standards.
• Respond to emergency service calls on a rotational basis, as required.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as an HVAC technician.
• Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
