12-month, full-time position with health benefits
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years experience in commercial/industrial setting
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid NJ driver’s license
• Black Seal Boiler License or must attain within 10 months of hire
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of the problems, equipment, techniques and safety practices involved in installing, inspecting, repairing and maintenance of cables, wiring motors, sound equipment, oil burners and other type of electrical equipment.
Ability to:
• Work independently
• Read, write and understand work-related directions and instructions with sufficient skill to perform required tasks effectively
• Read and work off blueprints
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the head custodians
• Demonstrate strength and dexterity to be able to perform all required tasks such as lifting up to 80 lbs. and snow removal
• HVAC experience a plus
