Key Responsibilities
This role requires:
• Fully understanding how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
• Driving vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
• Ensuring contents are properly secured in a truck to prevent damage or injury.
• Obtaining signatures to confirm and complete any deliveries.
• Assisting in mapping driving routes.
• Communicating with dispatch as needed.
• Performing inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Checking weather conditions and road reports before departure.
• Maintaining and servicing your vehicle as needed.
• Notifying managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
• Tracking and reporting working hours.
• Adhering to company rules and regulations.
