About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain and repair all power plant, field, and HVAC equipment, including the building automation system (BAS). This includes completing daily and substation log sheets, making daily rounds to check power center, and conducting general safety checks.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and repair all power plant equipment, including fire alarm, sprinkler, and Water Softener system, and electrical circuits as necessary.
• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, ventilation fans, and cooling equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot variable frequency motor drives, individual BAS panels with analog/digital controllers, and a variety of HVAC system devices and controllers.
• Assist Grounds during weather emergencies.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a 2-year or longer HVAC program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university.
• Three (3) years full-time experience in heat generation and air conditioning installation and repair, HVAC repair, installation, and troubleshooting, and use of refrigerant recovery equipment.
