We are seeking an experienced Diesel Repair Professional to join our team at PrideStaff. As a Diesel Repair Professional, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engine issues, performing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring equipment is running safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience with heavy duty diesel maintenance, excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time, direct hire position in Sacramento, CA, with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues using computer diagnostic equipment
• Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines
• Ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently
• Test run and inspect vehicles and equipment for wear, damage, or specific problems
• Utilize computer diagnostic equipment to identify issues
• Perform factory-recommended preventative maintenance and inspections
• Ensure machine guards and safety devices are functioning properly
• Write clear parts requisitions and service write-ups
• Meet attendance and punctuality expectations
• Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
