As a Generator Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and testing generators ranging from 5 kw to 4000kw. You will interact with customers, correctly fill out paperwork, and read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Job Description:
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generator systems
• Interact with customers
• Correctly fill out paperwork
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Requirements:
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
• Technical schooling, automotive or transportation fields, commercial, residential electric, or military experience a plus.
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies.
• Able to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes according to OSHA regulations.
Total Estimated Compensation: $110,480 - $130,500 per year.
