We are looking for a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team at Burkhardt Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate or HVAC apprentice eager to learn and grow in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with HVAC installations, including work alongside senior technicians to install heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Service & Repairs: Help troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC units, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and more.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, including explaining work performed to clients and answering basic questions.
• System Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools to identify issues in HVAC units and help resolve problems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Record Keeping: Accurately document work performed, including parts used and time spent on each service call.
• Parts & Equipment Handling: Assist with ordering and managing HVAC parts and equipment for jobs.
