About the Role
We are seeking a Heating and Ventilation Systems Engineer to join our team at Travaux Inc. As an essential member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
About the Job Responsibilities:
• Design and install heating and air-conditioning equipment, including climate control systems.
• Maintain and repair related electronic motors, starters, wiring, fuses, protective devices, and controls.
• Work productively in both on-demand and preventative maintenance work environments.
• Brazing and soldering of components as required to keep all facility systems working well.
• Respond immediately to building maintenance emergencies.
About the Ideal Candidate:
• An associate degree or equivalent in HVAC or a related field, or 3-5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and related controls.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, technical specifications, and sequence of operations.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
