Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to lead our HVAC sales efforts in the Southern United States.
Key Responsibilities:
• Distributor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent distributors to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share targets.
• Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with distributors to align on growth objectives and key action drivers to deliver mutual sales growth.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Logility, Power BI) to develop and monitor strategic plans and activities within assigned distributor accounts to execute and manage performance.
• Market Playbook Implementation: Implement the 'Market Playbook' within the assigned geographic territory to drive business performance and develop a Distributor sales strategy consistent with the company's strategic plan.
• Product Forecasting: Provide monthly product forecasts to enable supply chain and production efficiencies.
• Performance Expectations: Use the distribution scorecard to facilitate performance expectations with independent distribution principles on a quarterly basis and implement performance management activities as needed.
Requirements:
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of HVAC Sales experience or Associate degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of HVAC Sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Distributor Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing and managing Distributor/Contractor sales relationships.
• Travel Requirements: Ability to travel a minimum of 75%.
• Remote Work: Prior experience and a proven track record of successfully working remotely showcasing strong self-discipline and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree: Master's degree preferred.
• Location: Applicants residing in Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, including a competitive bonus plan, paid vacation/holidays/sick time, comprehensive benefits package, and on-the-job/cross-training opportunities.
