Job Title: Environmental Services Technician
Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team at Providence Health Care. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including floor care functions, resident personal laundry services, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. You will also be responsible for collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables, and performing routine and periodic cleaning tasks.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
• Perform floor care functions, including scrubbing, waxing, and buffing floors
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
• Perform resident personal laundry services
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment
