About the Role
We are seeking a Project Sales Representative specializing in commercial HVAC systems. This role focuses on selling large chillers, boilers, and air handlers directly to building owners without cold calling. You will manage a provided book of business, aiming to sell between $1 million and $2 million annually.
The position also involves consulting with business owners on building automation to enhance energy efficiency and maximize capital investments. Success in this role is measured by your ability to close deals and sustain business, with a focus on existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Sell commercial HVAC equipment, including large chillers, boilers, and air handlers, to building owners
• Manage a provided book of business, aiming to sell between $1 million and $2 million annually
• Consult with business owners on building automation to enhance energy efficiency and maximize capital investments
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the commercial HVAC industry
• Proven track record in selling complex HVAC equipment (not residential or new construction)
• Strong relationship-building skills and a history of closing significant deals
Benefits
• Competitive base salary: $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
• Uncapped commission structure with on-target earnings of $200,000 in the first year
