About the Role

• This position involves ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of commercial HVAC systems, with a strong focus on chiller and boiler equipment.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex system issues, managing a wide range of HVAC equipment, and delivering superior service to our clients.
• Additionally, this role requires excellent customer communication skills, as well as the ability to train and oversee other team members.
Responsibilities
">
• Provide high-quality technical support and repairs to commercial HVAC systems.
• Install, layout, and design low voltage and high voltage wiring.
• Verify and coordinate HVAC building code compliance.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and facilities engineers.
• Train, instruct, and oversee other team members.
• Troubleshoot equipment, make repair and replace decisions, and calculate equipment efficiency and operating costs.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Qualifications
">
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with a wide range of equipment, including chillers, boilers, and steam systems.
• Advanced customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Must be able to teach Service Tech 3 & 4 on VRF installation & troubleshooting within 2 years of employment as Service Tech 5.
