Job Summary
We are seeking a Jr. Installation Technician to join our team at Prism Maritime, LLC. As a key member of our Alteration Installation Team (AIT), you will perform general manual labor tasks including basic shipboard installation assistance, running errands, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds. This role requires working under direct supervision following clear and detailed instructions. You may be assigned duties and responsibilities of other positions for which qualifications are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in storage and staging of various tools / materials; transportation of tools / material to the worksite;
• Loading and unloading vehicles; general clean-up / daily housekeeping;
• Cutting / grinding metal; standing fire watch; pulling cable;
• Heavy lifting of tools / material / equipment.
Requirements:
This role requires possession of a valid State Drivers License and U.S. Citizenship. A HS diploma or GED may be required depending on varying contract stipulations. Must have a basic understanding of standard power tools and possess the ability to read and follow simple instructions.
