About the Role
In this exciting opportunity with United Parks and Resorts, Inc., you will have the chance to work on cutting-edge audio visual systems in a fast-paced theme park environment. As an Entertainment Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the Technical Services team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio, video, and electronic systems.
Some key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with the installation and strike of audio, video, and electronic elements for shows, exhibits, attractions, and seasonal events.
• Maintaining audio, video, and electronic elements for shows, exhibits, attractions, seasonal events, and other projects as assigned.
• Completing assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Key skills and qualifications for this role include:
• At least 3 years related experience in general troubleshooting and repair of audio, video, and electronic circuits or devices.
• Associates degree, vocational training, or technical trade school preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of audio/video systems and equipment including understanding of signal flow, video switchers, audio mixers, show control systems, video surveillance systems, wireless microphones, and computer-based media equipment.
