About the Role
The 120 Degreez team seeks an experienced MEP Lead HVAC Engineer to join our vibrant team. As the MEP Lead HVAC Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the HVAC engineering aspects of projects. Your primary responsibilities will encompass designing, coordinating, and ensuring the successful implementation of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and review project plans, specifications, and design documents for HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to seamlessly integrate HVAC systems into the overall project design.
• Perform calculations and simulations to evaluate HVAC system performance, energy efficiency, and thermal comfort.
• Site visits to assess existing HVAC systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in HVAC system design and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including proficiency in CA building codes.
