About the Job
We seek a skilled journeyman mechanic with experience in HVAC comfort cooling, air-cooled and water-cooled systems in the industrial market. As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities for factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) and professional growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
• Mechanical Journeyman status
• Member of Local Union 286 or willing to join
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. smartphones, iPads)
• Adherence to company safety program
• Valid driver's license
• Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerant, boiler, and steam operational & service knowledge
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
